Photographer's Description
Located just south of Cole Harbour and Dartmouth, Cow Bay has been used as a summer resort area for people from Dartmouth from about 1866. Shortly before 1923 the beach was renamed "Silver Sands". Today, it is a suburb of Dartmouth.
